You can buy expensive washing powder for professional laundries, but if you want to save money, you can just use what you have at hand. So read the following advice which will help you to save money. And the washing of clothes will become a professional domestic laundry.
When washing colored bedding in a washing machine, add 2-3 tablespoons of salt into the water – this will not only prevent the colors from fading but will actually make them brighter.
When washing woolen knitwear, add a tablespoon of soda into the water – this will revitalize the colors and eliminate the smell of sweat. Rinse the garment well.
Washed and rinsed clothes that are brown, beige or cream in color may be submerged into a tea decoction, after checking whether the hues match on the tip of a belt or a shred of the fabric. A desired color hue can be achieved by steeping the tea to varying degrees.
When washing white socks and sweatshirts, soak them in water with 1-2 tablespoons of boric acid for 2-3 hours beforehand – this will make them remarkably clean.
